Thing #6
There are so many things to play with on these sites it will take me years just to finish playing with them all. I like the trading card option, but I think my favorite is the motivational poster. I'm going to go back through my old photos and see what slogans I can come up with. I created a quick one with a picture I took in Morocco a couple of years ago just to see how it worked. I get tired of seeing the same old posters in every teacher's room. This should give them something different to think about.

Thing #5
I enjoyed exploring Flickr. I think this can be a very useful sight for some of my classes. It will certainly allow me to save on district server space for shots I want the students to use for various projects. I picked this picture to upload because it is a view I get from my mother's home in Virginia and reminds me of home.

Thing #4
This was the easiest so far, just getting registered as a player. On with the show and let's see what's next!
Thing #3
It was easy setting up the blog. The avitar was easy to create, but I tried multiple times to get the picture to show on the blog and not just the link. It works sometimes and not others and I haven't figured out why yet...I'll keep working on it. The avitar could certainly be addictive, way too many choices. At least I feel that I'm actually into the 23 things now and will keep after it to get all the way through. I can't wait to see what comes next.
Thing #2
I think the easy thing from the 71/2 habits is starting with the end in mind. I've been doing that for years. The hardest is to have confidence in myself as a learner. I hope through this process I'll develop more confidence in my solutions to the challenges that come my way.
